Art For Japan

I made this painting for Meg and Alice Hunt's Art For Japan call to action. It's a 9x13" painting that I'm sending off to Oregon in hopes that someone will buy it and that money will help some folks.

Illustration Friday: Warning

It remains to be seen if comics could be the next frontier. But I thought I'd try at least one. It also remains to be seen if I'd like them better painted. But the coloring was kind of easy, breezy, and fun here. I liked that.

New Promo. Finally.

After at least a month of talking the talk about this mailer, I finally finished it! Once I get actual brochures I will take some photos, since they are far less impressive when they're not folded in their proper form. But I'm glad it's done, and I'm happy with it so far...remains to be seen if I will be when they show up at my door. I like the squashed girl at the bottom the most.

Revised Pile

Revised sketch for my pile of folks mailer. I feel better about it. The people look more squashy, i think. I have slacked on my illustration friday thing this weekend. I hope I will get to it tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Philadephia Stories!

So I finally got the winter issue of Philadelphia Stories Magazine that featured my work! They chose my Johnstown Flood piece that I painted for thesis last fall.

...try not to mind my goofy faces in these photos. I was really psyched.
